ColorJack: The Grand Scheme of Color

ColorJack: The Grand Scheme of Color

While I was Stumbling around on the internet, I came across a great tool for web and graphic designers. Not an artist? Me neither. This is perfect for anyone who can appreciate art, especially color, and even for those of you who are colorblind.

ColorJack is a cool site that contains a sphere on which you navigate your mouse to create fresh color schemes of anywhere from two to six colors that complement, clash, or neutralize. It's a little like Kuler, if you've heard of or used that before. There are so many great tools to use on this site to generate the perfect color scheme for whatever art you're designing. The best part is, after you find the perfect colors, you can export your scheme to Illustrator or Photoshop, import into del.icio.us or use the ColorJack studio. You also have the option of setting the URL to your current scheme. So, while this is an extremely useful tool for the artists, it's fun and educational for all of us! Now go Jack around…
