LevelTen Interactive Launches New SIL Microsite: SIL Peru

DALLAS, TEXAS-- Nov 17, 2014 - LevelTen Interactive teamed up with SIL International (SIL) again to launch SIL Peru. The SIL International website manages the investigation, research, translation, and sustainability of worldwide languages and dialects. SIL Peru website partners with language groups, local authorities, the Peruvian government, and others with common interests that benefit the native communities. 

Designing a new microsite website under the brand company SIL, involved tying in the brand with design, graphics, and relevant copy content for the Peru SIL website. LevelTen configured SIL Peru’s website to translate the English language into native Peruvian words. SIL Peru was built on LevelTen’s Drupal distribution of Open Enterprise. 

“SIL has an international audience and it was very important that the newest Peru site support internationalization of language.  Implementing translations was LevelTen’s biggest challenge, but I think we successfully configured the site to switch between English and Spanish. The team for the Peru site was very easy to train and it was a real pleasure working through the difficult tasks together,” said Kristin Yang, Production Manager of LevelTen Interactive.
