Our company was in a state of intense growth and change so we needed a new web site. We chose to work with Drupal because it’s a lot more cost effective than licensed CMS web platforms. We gave the site development to our existing marketing firm despite the fact that they had no Drupal expertise. We felt because they understood our business it would make the project easier, not fully understanding the technical acumen required to work with Drupal. Though the site ultimately went live despite difficulties, we felt our hands were completely tied in terms of moving to the next phases of SEO, social media and most importantly, navigation enhancements. Any changes or improvements we desired required Drupal expertise and because it proved difficult for them, we encountered intense resistance from our agency. We knew we needed Drupal expertise, but we also wanted an agency that was customer focused, responsive and consultative about best practices. Initially our attraction to LevelTen was their Drupal knowledge, but within a short period of time we found them to be all of the things we were looking for: agile, responsive and completely customer focused. In addition, they bring a wealth of knowledge about digital marketing best practices. The web site is no longer a sore point in our marketing mix; it’s fast becoming a solid platform for our company’s brand.
