LevelTen Hit Counter Getting Started

This page is a short list of assorted items you should know when you first start using the LevelTen Hit Counter.
  • While most of the reports are real time, some statistics are generated at midnight such as browser and period reports.
  • Some of the reports and statistics require a weeks worth of data to be collected. This is particularly true on the summary page for site projection. As the system gathers more data, the projections will become more accurate.
  • Most tables allow you to drill-down for more information about an item by clicking on the table line and a menu will pop-up.
  • You can change the series charts (bar and line) display by clicking on the color box in the legend.
  • On series charts you can rollover any bar or data point to view the value. Note: to get data points you need to change the chart display by click the color box in the legend.
  • The system uses two types of averages, All Time and Weighted. The All Time average count all traffic since the system was installed, the Weighted is a running average that is scaled to emphasize the most current data.
