Stop Spam, Not Your User - The un.captcha.lous Module Demo

Spammers got ya down? We all know the pain of putting a form on our website only to have hundreds of spam-bots find it - ruining our morning with useless submissions. Spam wastes our time and creates an unnecessary hassle.

On the flip side, many spam blocking tools are available. However, while creating less hassle for you, many of them create more hassle for you users. I can't even upload a photo without solving a riddle. And don't get me started on the blocks of barely legible text one must decipher in order to submit a simple form.

Luckily, the un.captcha.lous Drupal module has arrived! Thanks to Dustin Currie, a web developer here at LevelTen who created this module with the idea of an unobstrusive spam blocker.

The module uses a Honey Pot technique (and a Javascript "magic number" idea) to block bots without the user ever knowing it is there. Very simple, very practical, very useful; the un.captcha.lous module delivers.

Download the un.captcha.lous module and check out the screencast below for some more background on how un.captch.lous works, as well as a brief demo on how to configure the module. If you have any questions or suggestions, leave your thoughts below and we'll talk about it!
