Interactive Images for Blogs

For bloggers and marketers alike, finding or generating free images for sharing on social media can become a hassle when working with a limited budget. There are plenty of stock photography sites, but when you are trying to edit stock images, you might also run into the problem of not having photo editing software. However, you can read all about free image editing software from our graphic designer's recent blog post, Free Software for Graphic Designers.

My LevelTen blog images are usually generated using Canva. Recently, however, I found out about a website that generates mockups and videos of any website with a URL. There are plenty of PSD files that allow you to place still images of a website for demonstrations, but they look really one-dimensional, almost like clip-art.

In comes the Placeit website that generates mockups and videos of websites and products that are completely interactive. Below is a demonstration of our website that is completely interactive. Hover over the iPad, you will see how you can completely navigate our LevelTen website by scrolling and clicking on the banner, images, and menu.

Being a marketer, I'm always on the hunt for something that can generate photos, in this case, website mock-up photos, without spending too much time on a particular task. This Placeit website, which also has an app, is an amazing website that needs to be shared to everyone looking to generate better looking website mock-ups, while also making it an interactive image.

What are some websites or tools that you use that help generate photos for your blog? Let me know in the comments!
