He took the other candidates by surprise when he started the first campaign blog in 2003. Candidates today are now betting that MySpace is the next big thing. In addition to their own websites, most candidates now have MySpace pages and are ready and waiting to add you as a friend. As I was searching MySpace earlier today, I discovered that some candidates have multiple MySpace pages. My people search for Rudy Giuliani returned over 40 results. His named page (myspace.com/rudygiuliani) looked official but had only had one friend...Tom. Pretty sad. Other Giuliani pages had headlines ranging from "Who wants to party?" to ""Rudy Giuliani is fly, no lie, he's BALLLLIIIN'!" I backtracked from his campaign website to his official page at myspace.com/joinrudy2008.
