Think Like Your Customer

Think Like Your Customer

This is the basic tenet of all marketing. If you do this, you will usually make the right decision. About your products, your services, your image, your postion, your marketing, your advertising, your website. Take the time to identify the person that is your primary target market. Describe that person. Write down a full description. Then think about the person you described every time you make a decision about your product or your advertising. Now, think about why that person would come to your website. What would they want to find there? The answer to this question will tell you the content you should have on your site. Before you start creating that content....it's time time to do your keyword and keyphrase analysis. If you will take the time to research what words and terms are being used by your target market to search for products and services like yours, you will find out a lot about the right words and phrases to use in your content. This is really a simple concept. Determine who your taget market is...determine what they are looking for...determine the search words and phrases they are using in the search engines to find what they are looking for...and create content that includes those words and phrases... And when I say create content that includes those words and phrases....I mean all of your marketing content...think about this...do this...content is the key...and you want all of your content to enhance your seach ranking.
