Content type descriptions

Content type descriptions

This entry discuss content type definitions for LevelTen content types.

Answer

During the Knowledge Topic assignment phase, you may be assigned a question to research. The question and answer should be posted to the answer section. Example: Question: What is the capital of Massachusetts? Answer: Boston.

Article

An article is the most formal of the content types. Articles should be fully developed and researched, with multiple links to sources and [[wiki]] definitions. An article should be as close to an academic paper as you can get – without getting overly boring in the process.

Blog Entry

A [[blog]] should be considered the most informal of all the content types. Blog entries are for content that is not fully developed or researched. A blog entry could be a short personal story about a challenge you recently overcame, or it could be some quick commentary on current trends and developments in the web/tech industry.

Internet Resource

An Internet Resource is for content types that up until now have mostly lived on the blog. These would include reviews of helpful websites, open source applications, etc. We can extend this to paid applications, as long as it can be downloaded from the Internet.

Solution

Add content to the Solution section when you encounter a problem and later discover how to fix it. For example, say you need to add a Drupal module to a site, but can’t figure out how to get it to work. When you figure that out, explain the problem you encountered and how you solved it in this section.

Tip

A Tip is content that is two sentences or less in length and makes you or your coworkers jobs easier.

Wiki

The Wiki is for definitions. Any word, phrase, or concept that you think needs a definition should be posted to the Wiki.

Process Docs

For controlled company process documentation; Work Flow, Procedure, Work Instruction & Forms.
