Workbench: Managing Content Management
by: George DeMet
One of the demands of enterprise CMSs is the ability to support advanced content workflows. This could be done in Drupal 6. But, if you ever recipes a workflow together using modules like Revisioning, Workflow and Module Grants you know that the 6 solution is far from elegant.
Fortunately, Palantir has reworked the old content workflow recipes into the Workbench module. Join Ken Rickard and George DeMet as they walk you through this great new addition for Drupal 7.

The Path to a Mobile Drupal: Techniques, Tools and Failure
by: John Albin Wilkins
This mobile thing is kinda a big deal. Drupal is a community that prides itself on being on the forefront of emerging trends. Arguably mobile might be a place we are lagging. While this is a top priority in Drupal 8, what can we do now in D7?
Design for mobile is rapidly evolving from mobile apps and web themes to responsive themes. The mobile first revolution is here. John Albin Wilkins walks you through how we got here (nice history lesson John) and where we are going. If you are interested in mobile, this is a must see. If you are not, you should be.
Contributing Without Code
by: Mark Ferree
One concept that is often overlooked when you are new to Drupal is that Drupal is a community. If you were at DrupalCon London or any of the Cons you know that. The Drupal Community has historically been dominated by programmers and it was hard to really get involved without coding skills. Drupal and the community's needs are now much broader. More than ever there are opportunities for everybody and anybody to make Drupal better and be apart of this dynamic community. Welcome to the family.
