Giving Back in 2010

At the start of each New Year it’s a good time to reflect on your progress and adjust in those areas that need some tweaking. It’s our first week back after the New Year and LevelTen is focusing on company-wide New Year’s resolutions - this year we are committed to giving back. It’s no doubt that being involved in your local community is a simple way for you and your team to unite and give back. Regular donations to your local Food Bank, fund raising for nonprofit organizations, doing volunteer work are just a few of the things that we can do to make our community a better place. This year LevelTen will: Educate On Tuesday, February 16, 2010 LevelTen will participate on a panel at The Art Institute of Dallas in efforts to better educate students who are pursuing degrees in the web design industry. Cut Down on Waste and Recycle As recycling becomes increasingly important more offices, schools and businesses are “going green,” and becoming more aware of environmental issues. This year, I would like to encourage LevelTen to start cutting down on waste around the office and start recycling. You would be amazed at the amount of paper, diet coke and beer cans that pile up around here. Get Involved LevelTen has always made an effort to participate in events throughout our community. In the past, we have raised money and participated in local fund raising events for organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year, LevelTen will participate in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure event that takes place November 5-7, 2010. If you live in the area and would like to participate on our team stay tuned, information will be posted on our website at a later date. How does the company you work for give back to the community?
