Introduction - Tom Nelson

Hello, my name is Tom Nelson. I was hired recently by Levelten as a front end developer/themer and am getting settled in. I'm originally a native of Texas, but have only lived here for seven years after living in the midwest and west coast for most of my life. I was a music major in college before switching to IT and have been working as a web developer for the last three years. I have been writing CSS and HTML for several years and have been working with the Drupal CMS for about a year now. My responsibilities at Levelten are to apply design elements to each page and to ensure that the pages appearance is consistent across all modern browsers and operating systems. I'll be blogging about front end techniques and highlighting some of the new technologies that are coming out in the latest browsers. I look forward to sharing these with you in the near future.
