Introduction to Drupal Series: Session 1 is Tuesday!
Do you desire mad ninja-like Drupal skillz? Would you like to scale the walls of Drupal web development wearing what appears to be black pajamas? How do you feel about Bruce Lee's knowledge of HTML? Do you enjoy mixed metaphors but are sick of tired "code ninja" references?
If the answer to any of those questions is "Um, maybe, what?" then you need to attend the next totally free Introduction to Drupal series starting next Tuesday, September 6 at the LevelTen offices Mixed Drupal Arts Studio. We are repeating the series once again, starting with Session 1 on Tuesday. And did we mention it's totally free and without any obligation or need to buy a ninja-proof ski-in / ski-out timeshare from us?
Over the course of four sessions we will walk you through how to build a Drupal 7 site from the ground up including:
- Installing and extending Drupal
- Managing content, navigation and taxonomy
- Managing users and permissions
- Managing page layouts and themes
- Introduction to advanced concepts
We will cover fundamental Drupal concepts. We will take a look at several high profile Drupal sites and dissect how you can incorporate their advanced features in your site. We will get your site up and running, learn how to use modules to add features, look at the basics adding content, and how to break boards with just your mind (er, that might not be until Session 2...)Learn more at the official Dallas Drupal Users Group meetup page and register before it fills up, and before you face a clan of ninjas demanding you add a photo gallery and home page image rotator to your average-looking Uvula Awareness website.
