Chrysler to Make Blogging on the Road a Reality

On my way in to the office this morning I heard one of the most absurd and disturbing announcements from the automotive industry to date; apparently Chrysler will be offering wireless internet as an option for their 2009 vehicles. I thought it was a joke, but got in this morning and clearly idiot is reality. Now not only do I have to deal with the woman putting on her makeup, the recent college grad tying his tie, the motorcycle idiot zipping through stopped traffic and now of course the non-observant business man trying to make a big deal (or at least win his ebay auction). I'll admit, I use my cell phone in the car on occasion, but checking my MySpace page or downloading the latest Toadies song is not at the top of my list of to-do's while I'm on the road. I could see this being used by someone in the back seat, but let's be totally honest do I really need my kids to be that plugged in that they can't log-off the Matrix for a leisurely stroll?
