What do men do on Facebook?
Apparently, they spend time looking at pictures of women they know...and women they don't know. Harvard Business School professor Mikolaj Jan Piskorski has identified differences in the way men and women use social networking sites like Facebook.
His work shows that men in relationships and with large on-line networks are more likely to look at women they do not know. In contrast, single men with large networks are more likely to look at women they do know. The biggest usage categories are men looking at women they don't know, followed by men looking at women they do know. Women look at other women they know. Overall, women receive two-thirds of all page views. Lucky us.
