Kimbell Microsite Sets the Stage for a Rare Exhibition

If you’ve been wondering about the new collection showing at the Kimbell, you can now read all about it via The Age of Impressionism microsite. After completing the microsite for Caravaggio and His Followers in Rome, LevelTen provided a template that was set up for simple field and content organization. This allows the Kimbell team to set up their future microsites quickly and easily and design them around each individual event.

Until you get to take a peek inside the actual gallery, enjoy the photos we took at the press opening on Thursday. The tour guides were very thorough and it’s clear that the curators planned the exhibition with great care and thought, never allowing any piece to be diminished or overshadowed.

If you want to get a glimpse of the exhibit before opening day, visit the Kimbell Saturday, March 10 at 10am for a free symposium discussing the artists' engagement with landscape, figure, and still life. For more information, follow the Kimbell on Twitter and Facebook.
