Managing Large Amounts of Content In Drupal

Managing large amounts of content on a website can be a daunting task. As your website grows to thousands of pages, finding specific pages that need to be updated becomes a huge undertaking.

Two Primary Ways to update content within drupal

  1. Browse to the page you are looking for within the website, and select the edit tab on that page to edit content.
  2. Select the Content link within the admin menu which will bring up a list of all the pages on your website

make filtering easy with open Enterprise

Out of the box, Drupal provides a pretty good structure for content creation and organization using content types and views. Open Enterprise Pro takes it a step further, providing pre-designed content types with custom fields so that you can quickly generate blog posts, press releases, employee bios, events, case studies, etc.  And these posts can automatically be grouped by different views; which helps automate some processes – reducing the amount of time it takes to create and promote new content.

In this video, we explore both solutions as well as some advanced filtering and search LevelTen has added that enhances Drupal's out-of-the-box content management - making it easy to search and filter content by keywords and authors, as well as the typical content type or page status.
