UX Design Improves Inbound Marketing

Evolving website design trends affect the way markets approach inbound marketing strategies, and how well inbound marketing goals perform. If it's been a while since your website was last updated, concerning the design, then chances are you inbound marketing efforts are being affected and are not as effective.

A new fresh web design will not only help improve user experience, but also your sales and marketing teams goals of leads and conversions.

Inbound marketing is all about creating quality content to attract leads, but with so much new content being created, it becomes difficult to present it in a way without making your website look cluttered.

Here are a few elements you can implement when considering a new website redesign:

Adding Categories to Blogs

Using categories for your blogs will act as filters so your visitors/users can see blog posts in different types of blogs your company is producing. When considering the design of your website, think about the different topics you often blog about. Blogs are often the go-to resource visitors are searching for, as blog entries grow, the pieces think of where they will fit, either under one broader category or if it will apply to many.

Adding Sidebar Calls-to-Actions

As a best practice, each blog post should contain a CTA that functions as a means to finding relevant premium offers that have been created. This feature ensures that content is being distributed and easily found by many.

Having these interruptive elements works because visitors notice them, particularly on smartphones, because they take-up an entire screen as visitors scroll past them.

Adding a Mega Menu

Have a healthcare website? Then more often than not, your goal is for your visitors to find your content easily while navigating your site. If you have a plastic surgery website, the chances are that you want to let your visitors know about all the procedures, testimonials, reviews, insurance information, and other relevant content available on your website to make them choose your practice.

A mega menu can easily solve this navigation of content overload issue. Mega menus allow your users to view more areas of your site they may not have found otherwise. It prevents a user from having to go through several layers of the website. Easier access to content will lead to better conversion rates.

Adding A Visible Contact Us Popup

Adding a prominent contact us pop up, that sits on the right-hand side on the bottom corner throughout the website, will help with conversions. The more you eliminate clicks, the easier it is for a visitor to fill a form, especially a contact us form.
Adding a hover feature will make it visible, but not intrusive to the user. It's visible but only opens when a user hovers over as to not annoy visitors.
