How do I test a website in IE6 on Windows XP?

For Windows XP, the best way I have found to test a website in IE6, is to create a virtual machine on your PC. You will need two things in order to make this happen: IE6 VPC Image: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=21EABB90-958F-4... Download the IE6-XPSP3.exe file. Windows Virtual PC 2007: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=04d26402-3199-4... Download the 32-bit version. You will want to first download and execute the IE6 .exe file so that you have an image from which to load. Next, download and install Windows Virtual PC 2007. Launch Virtual PC, click on the "New..." button, and proceed to create a virtual machine. You will need to load the IE6 image when you get to that step. From the Virtual PC console, select your IE6 profile and click "Start" and you are on your way to testing in IE6!
