Understanding Drupal 7 core fields structure

Fields provides a system for extending content in a very elegant way. Drupal 7's core provides a set of basic, yet highly adaptable field types. However, it can be daunting, especially if you are new to Drupal, to wrap your head around all the different types and when to use them.

In this video we review all the field types in core and show how they are structured and relate to each other. To help make it clear when to use which field, we provide examples and guidelines for the best usage of each type.
