DrupalCon Day 2: "Drupal Side of the Moon"
Now that we’re well into Day 2 of DrupalCon Denver, it’s a good time to highlight some features of the day. There are so many sessions, BOFs, and speakers that it’s difficult to pick and choose. So here are some sessions happening today that might pique your interest:
Drupal Game Show, 2:15pm-3:15pm
Well known people from the Drupal community will compete to test their knowledge in an ultimate game of Drupal destruction hosted by Four Kitchens.
It’s very possible that this session was chosen mainly as an excuse to Drupalize Bob Barker, but aren’t you that much more excited for the game show?
Designing for Content Management Systems, 3:45pm-4:45pm
Are you working to integrate yet created and ever-changing content? No problem! Jared Ponchot of Lullabot will cover basic design concepts and principles you can apply to your CMS-based site. Biggest hurdles and potential pitfalls will also be examined.
The Twilio Contest Finale, 5:00pm-6:00pm
Do you need some Twilio VIP swag, a Kindle Fire, or a Macbook Air? Hopefully you already submitted your entry to create a Twilio integrated "Epic Module" so that you have a chance to win. Check out the final presentations on the Day Stage during the Finale.
Of course, no day during DrupalCon could be complete without our favorite Tweet of the Day. Many thanks to @calvintennant for his insightful words that give us a glimpse into the Drupal mindset:
If you haven’t already, why not follow today’s Keynote speaker, Mitchell Baker, on Twitter?
Also, do you think you can come up with wittier blog titles than I can? Let’s get ready to duel! Come up with the best use of the word “Drupal” in a song or album title and I’ll use it in the next DrupalCon post. Post your ideas in the comments, or on Twitter
